Setting up a company in an official Free Zone in Dubai like Meydan Freezone starts at AED 12,520 (without visa allocation). Yearly fee charged by Meydan Freezone.

How many visas can I get with my company?

You can obtain up to 6 visas without renting a physical office. These are included under a Flexi Desk setup.

Can I get more than 6 visas?

Yes, you can increase your visa allocation to up to 10 visas by paying an additional fee — still without needing a full office. If you need more than 10, you will be required to lease a private office space with a valid Ejari (tenancy contract). This is a requirement to comply with Dubai’s regulations.

Am I required to work from a physical office in Meydan Free Zone?

No. You are not required to work from a physical office. You are fully allowed to work from home or remotely - many entrepreneurs and freelancers do exactly that. One of the advantages of Meydan Free Zone is that you are allowed to rent office space outside the Free Zone, as long as it meets the Ejari requirement.

By law, your business license must include access to a shared office facility to meet legal workspace requirements in Dubai. This is part of the Flexi Desk setup included in your company registration — but you are not obligated to work from that space. If you ever want to meet clients or work from a professional environment, you are welcome to use the shared office facilities provided under the license.
